On March 7th from 6-8 pm Community Leaders were invited to read "bedtime stories" to the students in our K-3 population here at HHMS. The children along with their parents, siblings, Principal Mrs. Melissa Jenkins, & volunteer staff members clad in their "pj's" were treated to cookies and milk as they listened to the men not only read to them but in addition they were willing to answer questions about their jobs as well as their committment to the City of Bridgeport and strides being taken to move the city into a positive direction.

We are thankful to the following men who participated so fully in our wonderful evening of literacy at the school on a rainy & cold evening! Mayor Bill Finch, Asst. Superintendent Mr. Doug Hiscox, Bridgeport Police Chief Bryan Norwood, Bridgeport Police Sgt. John R. Cueto, Bridgeport Police Sgt. Erick Norton, Bridgeport Fire Dept. Captain Robert Morton, Bridgeport Firefighter Ziggy Mysliwiec and Bridgeport Firefighter Charlie Deer.
